Foundation For Finite Resources

focus: basics first. safe, adequate water. springing it.

about: Foundation for Finite Resources (FFR) is built on one fundamental principle that solving basic necessities is a precursor to any meaningful development of a community. they are focused on bringing water to remote tribal communities of Odisha, by harnessing the potential of springs. they identify, map and develop perennial springs in the hills and forests, in order to supply safe and adequate water, 24×7, at the doorsteps of tribal communities. depending on the discharge of the spring, they integrate various development interventions such as supply of water for drinking, household consumption, backyard irrigation, enhancement of livelihoods, elimination of open defecation etc. they are also planning to work on protection, conservation and rejuvenation of springs and their host aquifers so that the interventions are sustainable and irreversible.
